When Auguste Arthur Bondy, aka A.A. Bondy visits Australia in January 2012, it will be the Birmingham, Alabama native’s first sojourn to this vast brown land. Bondy, who, in conversation, goes by the name ‘Scott’ (taken from his great grandmother’s middle name) arrives with a reputation for being an underrated, understated folk gunslinger with two pensive records (2007’s American Hearts and 2009’s When The Devil’s Loose) previous to his latest, more sonically developed album, Believers.
